As you have come to find out more About Us we want to say hi, and to encourage you to keep up the faith and be encouraged! We believe Excel / Agape Centre is a place for you. Excel / Agape Centre also seeks to unite, develop leaders, represent well by teaching the truth and plant churches all over the world. According to Acts 4:32-33 and John 17:21-24.

AGAPE is a word for LOVE AGAPE is Pronounced AHGAHPAY which is a GREEK word that means ‘Unconditional Love’ Loving Somebody without a Condition, regardless of their condition, whether there are beautiful or ugly, good or bad, rich or poor, happy or sad. AGAPE is A God type of love AGAPE is not based on how we feel, it is based on Choice Choosing to love people regardless of how we feel.

The Mission of Excel / Agape Centre is: To establish God’s Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven. We aim to do this as follows: To Serve The Community, To Unite, To Develop and Empower Leaders and To Teach and Preach The Truth. Sometimes the cares of the world can try to wear us down, the bible states be anxious (worried) for nothing! Philippians chapter 4 verse 6.
God is real, He loves you and His plans for you are for good.
Lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5), we need God and we need each other.

Lastly we would like to extend our love by inviting you to our regular Friday, Wednesday and Sunday meetings.
It would be a great pleasure to fellowship with you and to guide you spiritually in your purpose and the things of God. Please feel free to bring anyone you wish with you to our meetings, tea, soft drinks and light refreshments will always be served at the end.

Excel / Agape Centre has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ.  We believe the only true basis of Christian fellowship is God’s (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians (Christ followers).

We are living in a day of great spiritual confusion. When Paul wrote to the Ephesians he spoke of how God had placed pastors and teachers in the church for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the building up of the body of Christ. The purpose was to bring them into spiritual maturity that they would not be carried away with every wind of doctrine and slight cunning of men who lie in wait to deceive. These are days when there are many winds of doctrine blowing through the church. The greatest defence against deception is a solid foundation in the Word.

This is what we seek to develop through our studies in the Scriptures. We are dedicated to bringing you the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help us God. This is why we offer to you the studies in the Scriptures at near our costs, as we are wanting to make the Word of God available to all. We want you to build your spiritual house on the rock solid Word of God so that it will be able to withstand the fiercest storms.
